Lehigh picked up some Canuck kid named Greg Page from Montreal, Canadia.

Here's some insight from Mr. Page himself on his abilities:

High school is done with now and it's a whole new ball game in college. Everything's different from the schooling to the hardwood. I'mma never forget the time I spent at Lindsay Place High School; winning two back-to-back city championships, playing with great friends/players and most of all my coaches: Mr. Pearson and as well Mr.Cuttiney - yallz both crazy funny....So Big Shout Out to LPHS... Back to tha College life…right now I'm at Vanier College and we are in a so-called “rebuilding process,” but tha team’s looking really good but we will have our growing pains. They have labelled me many things such as tha MAN-CHILD, big recruit, prized recruit even the Future; but my peeps call me BIZ... So Scrap tha rest of those names. Because I ain't a prize recruit or tha Future… I'm Just a Baller tryna get better everyday. Now Back to VC - Tha first few practices were really hard with all tha running and conditioning drills, but it was all worth it and it will help in tha long run. We have played a few exhibition games and we are starting to play better as a team, although I ain't a starter YET I will be soon I'mma just have to pick it up a notch in practice. We have a tournament this weekend in Oshawa, Ontario at Durham College and VC is the defending champions, so we gotta target on our backs. It's all good. I like it like that. The following weekend is the Hagen Tournament and we are also the defending champs, so we got our work cut out for us. It's going to be a long interesting season, but I'm down for tha ride. N-e-Wayz... I gotta bounce.. Underclassmen Fameni, Pierce plan to transfer: "Fameni's transfer plans are a surprise. The 6-7 native of Cameroon, a second-team selection to the Pac-10's All-Academic team, underwent surgery last month for a condition in his left knee that bothered him throughout last season. He averaged 1.8 points in 23 games. He is expected to transfer to a school in the Patriot League. He attended high school in Virginia."

You may recall my complaining about my visit to Hamilton, NY and what a boring and horrible place it was. Apparently I was looking for fun in all the wrong places.

"There have been sexual assaults, hazing, violent fights and a pattern of problems over the years." No WONDER no one was at the bar.

Also, this quote is funny: "They are acting like corporate bullies instead of a university," said senior Sean Devlin, of Connecticut, a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon. Combining the liberal anger at companies with the frat boy's complete sense of irony.. you get a zinger like this.

  LC ALUMS WRANGLE WEISS

Big article about scholarships in the LC student newspaper today. Someone should send Weiss the predictions of doom for LC if they don't get scholarships that I like toprophesize every now and then. Unless they enjoy having a 7th place basketball team every year, they need to get scholarships. It is going to be much tougher to get a Brian Burke type player if they don't.
