Jones Leaving?
From today's Daily Word on ESPN.com:
Don't expect a lot of movement on the Jeff Jones candidacy for the SMU job while American is trying to win the Patriot League this week. Jones and SMU athletic director Jim Copeland are friends and were together at Virginia. Copeland isn't going to jeopardize Jones' chances to win the conference by disrupting him. But Jones would likely have interest in talking to Copeland about the opening. Expect Oklahoma assistant Jimmy Tubbs to be in the mix for this job, too.
