WHAT I LIKE

- Your love for and commitment to Patriot League hoops
- The time and effort you put into your blog
- The quality insight you provide us readers

WHAT I DON'T LIKE

- That an "American yahoo" got a domain name that represents the entirety of the league (your reporting does cover the entirety of the league, with a heavy biased towards your alma mater, which is your choice, I know, and if I wanted that domain to be an unbiased PL site, I should have started my own blog)
- That your update frequency is in direct proportion to the amount of times you update the sight
- Reading biased commentary (which you probably will never switch to, but as a point of comparison, Chris at HoopTime is a more pleasurable read, IMO)

Despite my complaints, I will continue to be a loyal reader of your opinions and commentaries on the PL. Thank you for all your hard work!
 

Thanks for the thoughts. If you look back to the earlier (2003-early 2004) days of the blog, it was more news and links than commentary. But Chris, obviously, is better at that than I am. I don't have the patience (or interest) in linking folks to game stories or hard news items every day. I like that Chris does it, because I think it's useful.

That also gives me an out to focus more on analysis and commentary than does the HT site. Chris' writing is probably more enjoyable because writing is his job, so he's better at it than me and because I say things you don't like. Sometimes I'm right, sometimes I'm wrong, but the hope is that I'm always interesting. And that I'm not wrong often enough to become irrelevant.

The only way to get HC fans to stop bitching is to write their program a big, sloppy love letter. Don't bother.
