ET TU, CRUSADER?

So the NCAA has banned "displaying hostile and abusive racial/ethnic/national origin mascots, nicknames or imagery at any of the 88 NCAA championships."

This is eventually going to result in there being no Indian mascots in 50 years. But I ask you this: is the Holy Cross Crusader offensive? Are the Moors or whatever they are going to be horrified to see the representative of a war of attrition that still goes on today?

Probably not. But does it really sound that unreasonable that it might happen down the road? Never underestimate the power of political correctness.  @ 3:37 PM
